The month of October was dedicated to something called The Big Draw Festival, an annual event organised by a visual literacy charity that promotes the universal language of drawing as a tool for learning, expression and invention. My head is full of conflicting emotions about having to lockdown. It was very much compounded yesterday, when I went into the shop and had to pick and pack the orders from the first day of lockdown.
