A fine bone china mug featuring Houndtor, considered to be inspiration for Conan Doyle's "Hounds of the Baskervilles" with its legend of a head-strong hunter, Bowerman. Bowerman and his hounds were turned to stone by revenging witches, forever petrified as Bowermans's Nose and Houndtor. Beautifully hand finished on Dartmoor by Helen White in crisp Classic White.
